Hi, I’m Caroline — a Southwest Virginia-raised wedding and portrait photographer with a love for golden hour, genuine smiles, and telling stories through my lens.

I’m based near the Blue Ridge Mountains, where I photograph weddings, elopements, couples, seniors, maternity sessions, families, and creative portraits across Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and beyond. My work is inspired by the outdoors, real emotion, and the kind of moments that feel like a breath of fresh air.

Long before I was photographing love stories, I was falling in love with the mountains, forests, and landscapes that now inspire so much of my work. I’m a forestry graduate and Virginia Tech alum, so the outdoors has always been a huge part of who I am. Whether I’m photographing a couple on the Blue Ridge Parkway, a senior session in a field at sunset, or an intimate elopement surrounded by mountain views, I’m always drawn to the beauty of nature and the stories that unfold within it.

I’m also married to my high school sweetheart, so I know firsthand how special it is to have photos that preserve the people, seasons, and memories that shape your story. Photography, to me, is about more than pretty images — it is about remembering what life felt like in that exact moment.

Whether I’m capturing a wedding day in the Shenandoah Valley, an elopement in the Blue Ridge Mountains, a senior session on campus, or a family session at golden hour, my goal is always the same: to create images that feel honest, colorful, romantic, and true to you.
